I started training with Oli around February 2022 soon after COVID. In this time I had gained a lot of weight, my confidence was really low, I had stress fractures in both legs and collapsed arches from previous chronic over training and my mental health was in a bad spot. During this time I desperately needed someone to get me back on track and Oli wanted to start his PT journey and get some experience. I have been with him ever since and despite us being very close friends, I can say without bias, is a decision I will never regret. In our first 3 months, he helped me lose 15kg of weight while taking my stress fractures and conditions into consideration. It wasn't easy, it was hard work, but Oli never sugar coated it, there was no BS, he told me straight that it would be hard work. However, he also kept it motivating, I stuck to the plans and the results are as clear as day. The best bit is, we made this weight loss training less than I did before and clearly showing me how to train efficiently without breaking my body. After the weight loss me then moved onto specific goals with kickboxing and swimming (as I compete in both). We worked on shoulder mobility, posture and back pain, flexibility, hip mobility, sports specific fitness and strength without weight. The results from this are from anything I could ever picture myself doing before I started with Oli. With all this said, Oli is an amazing PT and I would recommend him to anyone. Not only will he push you to complete your goals, he will do it with realistic and well tailored plans while also considering the well being and situations of all of his clients. I have a very long way to go with my fitness, however I seek great comfort being on this journey with such a committed, knowledgeable and all round good guy. Oliver is easy to deal with and practices what he preaches. I would whole-heartedly recommend Oli as he is a walking example of how to improve your well being. I really like Oliβs approach to training, and the niche services he offers like pad work. He has a pleasant, calm and positive manner while still encouraging you to give that little bit extra!
