Today marks 2 years of when I opened this new website for everyone to see.
When it first launched, the website was very boring and there was only basic information.
Since then, I have been working very hard behind the scenes trying to get as much content uploaded onto the site.
The first year was slightly slow due to being ill but the last 12 months, so much more has been added.
I wanted to make this a place as the main hub of all CKMOXFORD operations so people can keep up to date with what is happening but also share what others are doing too.
I want to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to the team who works at The Lucy Rayner Foundation on a day to day basis for all your support with this project and allowing me to share what you do.
I feel so blessed to have a charity who I can work so closely with on a regular basis.
I love you all.
The biggest improved pages has to be the Kings Arms and Noodle King sections.
They are looking so good now that they look like a website on it's own
Please go and check them out.
Recently we had our first event at the Kings Arms in Kidlington and we raised over £200 for The Lucy Rayner Foundation and when I was there, someone recognised me from all my social media posts and said what an amazing job I am doing.
Due to most of the work I am doing at the moment is on the computer sharing on social media, I don't really see how much of an impact it is making but when I get feedback like that occasionally it really does mean so much.
Thank you if you are reading this.
Talking about Mental Health and our struggles have improved over the years but the stigma and lack of support is still really bad.
If by me doing all this can help at least 1 person to talk with either a family member or a friend about how they are truly feeling then this is doing it's job.
If you do want to reach out for support, the charity do offer support groups for men and women over the age of 18 so please get in touch or comment below if you want more information
I want to say a massive THANK YOU to you reading this and if you have shared my website on your socials, then I am extremely grateful.
Everyone who is on my website has given me permission to share and I cannot THANK YOU enough for allowing me to do that.
This project cannot work without the support of the community.
Over the next 12 months I will continue to build on here but also hopefully raise as money that I can for The Lucy Rayner Foundation.
My next mission is the Oxford Half in October.
This year I won't be running it but will be campaigning and we do have a team for it so keep your eyes out to see how that goes.
With it being another anniversary, I have teamed up with Noodle King to do a special offer so if you are interested to hear more, then visit their webpage.
Keep checking in on this website for events and to see what has been happening.
Here is to another 12 months ahead.
Love
Steve
